6 or so sailor hanging out for the wind which filled in as the afternoon started 8.5 not used rig 9.8, then started rigging 11 - used 9.8 RS6 on formula.
Had a good after noon when the wind freshened - andy and coles took off to the manor end with steve. I am a bit wary of cruising since I suffered a broken mast so I didn't wander too far. GPS 24.1 andy says my GPS is fast, no I just know how to get a fast run.
The one advantage of a lard ass is when I eventually get the board to speed I have plenty of ballast to drive the fin. Steve C tried to get his 8.5 / JP 135 going but alas having a lard ass on the kit is shit.
